We are pleased to announce that Kanna Makuta has joined the team as an athletic trainer for the 2024-25 season.
Athletic trainer Makuta served as a trainer for the ENEOS Sunflowers of the W League (Japan Women’s Basketball League) for three seasons, where he worked to improve players’ performance and maintain their condition to compete throughout the long season. During his three seasons with the Sunflowers, he contributed to the team winning the All Japan Basketball Championship (Empress’s Cup) for two consecutive seasons, and winning the 24th W League playoffs.
We welcome athletic trainer Makuta, who is taking a new step from the W League to the B League, and under head trainer Kobayashi, we will compete together in the 2024-25 season as a three-trainer team.
