In their search for a new full-back, Bundesliga club SV Werder Bremen have become aware of Killian Sardella from Belgian first division club RSC Anderlecht. The 22-year-old is one of several candidates for the Green-Whites. This is what insiders around the club say.
Sardella was Anderlecht’s regular right-back last season. What makes him particularly interesting for Werder is his flexibility. He can also play on the left side without any problems, which means he doesn’t necessarily have to be Mitchell Weiser’s back-up. He could compete for the vacant position alongside Felix Agu and Olivier Deman.
Since the Belgian’s contract with RSC only runs until 2025, Werder Bremen is considering buying him. That is also the club’s goal. According to information from LigaInsider, SVW has already made an offer for the player. The player can also imagine a move to the Weser.
