An eventful season for the SXM Badminton Club! After the youth, the adults headed to Guadeloupe to take part in three official competitions.
The poor players from Saint-Martin, Angélique Armougom, François Thao and Victor Vigouroux, took part for the first time in the “Ecol’Open” tournament organized by the TiBad club in Petit-Canal. François Thao and Victor Vigouroux achieved a good 2nd place in the men’s doubles.
At the 2nd “Bad’N Rock” tournament of Volant Bouillantais in Bouillante, Angélique Armougom and her partner Nathalie Trojman (Tibad) took 3rd place in the women’s doubles.
Finally, at the 3rd tournament, the regional veterans’ championship in Marie-Galante, Angélique Armougom and Nadine Ymung took 3rd place in the women’s doubles, while François Thao and his partner Patrick Olivier (KSC) took 2nd place in the men’s doubles. Finally, François Thao and his partner Nadine Ymung won the mixed doubles after a remarkable run. Congratulations to them!
