Tanner McGrew will continue to be a Fuenlabrada Basketball player next season
Baloncesto Fuenlabrada has closed the renewal of Tanner McGrew for the 2024/2025 campaign. The American power forward was one of the team’s main protagonists last season.

One of the best players in the category in recent years will continue defending the Fuenla shirt next season. We’re talking about Tanner McGrew. Club and player have sealed the renewal agreement for one more season.
Born in the American town of Buckhannon 30 years ago, McGrew is a 2.03 meter tall power forward who has spent most of his career in European basketball after completing his university career with the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, where he already stood out in scoring and rebounds.
His professional debut was in the Danish league (16/17 season) from where he moved on to French basketball (17/18). Next, he returned to the United States to play the 18/19 campaign in the G-League. On his return to Europe he defended the colors of Porto for two seasons, being elected MVP of the Cup in one of them.
In the 21/22 season he played for the Romanian CSU Sibiu with which he reached 11 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists with a 39% success rate from three-point range per game. A contribution that he maintained a year later with Palencia in LEB Oro where he was one of the key players in that successful campaign for the Palencia team.
As a native of Fuenlabrada, this last year he finished with averages of 12.6 points, 6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 16.2 rating credits.
McGrew completes his resume with internationality with the United States. He defended the country against him in one of the FIBA World Cup qualifying windows.
