Tennis dream couples are becoming increasingly clear recently. Now Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter have experienced a special day.

Munich – The love of sport unites.

If love is then connected to sport, then you have probably drawn the ultimate lottery ticket. If you look at winter sports, you will notice that Cupid’s arrow is quite often used in the same sport. It is the same with tennis!

World number one Jannik Sinner recently made his relationship with Anna Kalinskaya public. “You know, I don’t like to talk much about my private life. Yes, I’m together with Anna, but we keep everything very private. I won’t say anything more,” said the South Tyrolean at a press conference at the end of May.

Other dream tennis couples are: Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paola Badosa or Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina. A special highlight was experienced by Alex de Minaur, who recently lost to Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals of the French Open, and Katie Boulter.

Tsitsipas and Badosa or Sinner and Kalinskaya: Dream couples in tennis are booming

While the Australian was recently in the top 10 of the world rankings, his British girlfriend only recently managed to break through to the top of the tennis world. Last Sunday (16th), Boulter experienced her peak so far!

At the WTA tournament in Nottingham, she successfully defended her title win from the previous year – and at the same time secured her ticket to the Olympics. This made the fairytale day perfect for De Minaur and Boulter, because just a few hours earlier, in s’Hertogenbosch (Netherlands), De Minaur celebrated his final victory over the American Sebastian Korda, thereby climbing to 7th place in the ATP world rankings.

It couldn’t be better: Tennis dream couple experiences another fairytale day

What was particularly nice was that the tennis dream couple had a good reason to celebrate for the second time. Because de Minaur was able to win on March 2, 2024 in Acapulco, Mexico, and immediately flew to San Diego, where his partner Boulter played her final the next day.

The Australian arrived in California in time to see his girlfriend hold up the trophy. “How did it happen again?” de Minaur asked in amazement on social media on Sunday. “You’re crazy, Katie,” wrote a visibly proud de Minaur to his beloved girlfriend.

It will be interesting to see whether the fairytale days of the tennis dream couple will continue from July 1st. That is when the ‘All England Championships’ begin in Wimbledon. As luck would have it, de Minaur and his Katie are proven grass court specialists. This already smells like the next dream love story on the time-honored court in Wimbledon. (smk)
