Tennis: the BMW Roma Cup is underway, a women’s tournament at Tevere Remo – Tennis

The ITF international tournament of the Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo returns to the Roman scene in its 19th edition, also this year entitled BMW Roma cup. After the success of the last edition which saw the participation of players of the caliber of Lucia Bronzetti today 64th in the WTA rankings, the Japanese Moyuka Uchijima today 70th in the WTA rankings, and the French Chloè Paquet with 7 titles in the singles and 1 in the doubles in the ITF circuit today n.115 in the WTA rankings, the Acqua Acetosa Sports Facilities are ready to welcome the best international players, together with the large number of tennis enthusiasts from 1st to 7th July.


The prize pool, confirmed at $25,000, will attract professional players ranked between the world’s 200th and 300th in the main draw. The main draw features the top 4 seeds: Varvara Lepchenko is the number 1 to beat. She has won 13 ITF titles, the American of Uzbek origin number 205 WTA is the star of the Bmw Cup Rome International Tournament.
