The details of the event were offered by Aneudy Liven, president of the organizing committee, who announced that the main venue will be the Quisqueya-Juan Marichal Stadium and that it will also be played in softball stadiums No. 1 and No. 2 of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
In addition to the first place prize, they will also receive cash prizes, RD$100 thousand for second place and RD$50 thousand for third place; RD$10 thousand for the Most Valuable Player and RD$10 thousand for the Most Outstanding Pitcher.
The tournament will bring together players from the national men’s senior team, will be in the modified flat-court format, the rules of the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC) will apply and regulations will be adopted to speed up the matches.
Likewise, it was announced that the team rosters will have a maximum of 21 players, which will include a total of five pitchers. It is established that the throwers of the Sports Circle of the Armed Forces and the National Police “and some acquaintances who are not on the official list” will not be able to participate as such.
The games start at 9:00 in the morning; the opening will be on Saturday 29th at 2:00 in the afternoon at the main venue, where a plaque of recognition will be presented to Dr. Disla “to whom the tournament is dedicated, for being a collaborator and promoter of softball, a sport of friendship.”

Liven explained that the first places in groups A and B and the first two in groups C and D advance to the second phase, which will be played on Sunday starting at 9:00 in the morning.
He explained that the first two groups will be made up of three teams and will play at the Quisqueya-Juan Marichal Stadium, while, in the remaining groups, there will be four teams, summoned to the No. 1 and No. 2 softball stadiums of the Juan Pablo Olympic Center. Duarte.
In group A, called to play at the Quisqueya-Juan Marichal Stadium, are the teams Los Malcriados, Los Mellos Softball Club, and Los Prados del Cachón. In group-B, which will play in the same stadium are Estrella de Rubí, Liga Peña Gómez and the hosts, 95 North.
