Remember that the backyard ultra is a pretty crazy running event. Participants must complete as many 6.7 kilometer loops as possible in less than an hour, until only one competitor remains on the track.
For example, last month, at the Edmundston event on the Big Wolf circuit, the winner completed 51 loops, so he covered 342 kilometers in two days.
