The First Interdisciplinary Judo Clinic at Puerto Belgrano Naval Base

Puerto Belgrano – The First Interdisciplinary Judo Clinic was held for three days. It took place in the “Fragata Sarmiento” Dojo, located in the gymnasium of the Naval Center of the Puerto Belgrano Naval Base (BNPB).

The classes had the participation of more than 60 judokas from the provinces of Chaco and Buenos Aires and were taught by three teachers and a professor from the Argentine Intercollegiate Judo Federation: teacher VII DAN Fernando Yuma (former coach of the Argentine National Team of Judo and Olympic medalist Paula Pareto); the VI DAN Master Elizabeth Copes (former international competitor and Olympic diploma in Athens 2004), and the VI DAN Master Guillermo Di Jorgi (international referee of the International Judo Federation). Professor IV DAN Luis Jiménez, an international Kata competitor, was also part of the instructors.

The clinic consisted of practices in which technical-tactical aspects related to training, kata and refereeing regulatory issues were developed.
