At 35, Jean-Charles Valladont will be competing in his fourth Olympic Games after Beijing 2008, Rio 2016 where he won the silver medal in the individual event and Tokyo 2021. Back at the highest international level, with a World Cup podium in 2023 and an individual bronze medal at the last European Championships, the experienced Valladont has the assets to return to success. Thomas Chirault, 26, is winning his second Olympic selection after that of 2021 and Baptiste Addis, 17, will be the youngest member of this French men’s team. The team results obtained in the 2024 season, with a European champion title and a second place in the 3rd stage of the World Cup played from June 17 to 23 in Antalya, place France among the nations contending for the podium.
