“She’s carrying the trophy like she won it,” writes one user with three laughing and crying emojis. “That’s not love,” adds another. “All she wants is to be in the spotlight, by any means necessary,” complains another fan.

The fact that Lorenze even gave instructions to the photographers at the victory ceremony also got on some fans’ nerves. “This is all so disgusting,” said one comment. “Since when are girlfriends on the court, especially on such a prestigious historical stage as in Queens? Tennis is becoming a reality TV show.”
In addition to the critical posts, there are also a few positive comments for the couple. Lorenze and Paul are referred to as “tennis royals” or a “dream couple” in Insta stories that the influencer reposts on her Insta account. The tennis star himself posted pictures of his Queens triumph and wrote: “What a week! I am proud to share this trophy with the best team in the world.”
