The latest on Maxim De Cuyper transfer rumors: No concrete interest yet

Maxim De Cuyper has had a strong season at Club Brugge. Logically, his name regularly appears in various transfer reports. But for now, nothing is moving around the Red Devil.

No concrete interest in De Cuyper

De Cuyper has been linked to Besiktas, Borussia Dortmund and Olympique Marseille by not very reliable sources in recent days. Some of those sources even spoke of a bid and there was talk of 17 million euros as a possible price.

Transferwatchers Sasha Tavolieri then announced that Club Brugge wants 20 million euros and that the player wants to stay for another year. So there are quite a few different messages going around.

Club has not communicated an asking price

According to very good sources, there is currently nothing going on around De Cuyper. No club has contacted Club Brugge and the Belgian national champion has reportedly not put an asking price of 20 million euros behind his name. The mercato will last a very long time. Of course, De Cuyper attracted interest, but that’s it.

For now, De Cuyper will stay at Club Brugge, but a lot can happen during a transfer window. It is now impossible to predict what will happen in the coming months. De Cuyper had a strong season at Club Brugge and played his way into the European Championship selection. He will then take a vacation after a very long season. After that, he will join Club Brugge. That is the only thing that is really true for now.
