The moment Neymar joins Ronaldo in making fun of Messi’s name

Neymar was caught making fun of Cristiano Ronaldo from the stands in the Saudi Arabian King’s Cup final. The Al Hilal star shouted Lionel Messi’s name at CR7.

Al Hilal met Al Nassr in the final match of the Saudi Arabian King’s Cup at King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, Saturday (1/6/2024). The two teams drew 1-1 throughout the 120 minutes until extra time.

The final winner must be determined via penalty shootout. Al Hilal emerged as champions with a score of 5-4 over Al Nassr in the high-five round.

Neymar did not play in this match due to injury. The Al Hilal striker watched the match live in the VIP stands and celebrated the title with his teammates on the field.

There was an interesting moment caught on camera when Al Hilal fans mocked Al Nassr’s captain, Cristiano Ronaldo. They shouted the name of Lionel Messi, who in fact is the 39 year old bomber’s eternal rival.

Neymar seemed to laugh when he heard Al Hilal fans chanting Messi’s name. He then joined in shouting the name The flea towards the field as a form of allusion to Ronaldo.

Messi himself is a close friend of Neymar. The two of them played together at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain and managed to win the LaLiga, Champions League and French League trophies together.

Neymar admitted that Al Hilal fans were extraordinary in supporting his team from the stands. He regrets not being able to take part in the field because he is still injured.

“I feel fine. I can’t wait to get back on the pitch. The fans are amazing,” said Neymar, as reported by Sport Bible.

“Unfortunately I haven’t been able to give them the happiness they deserve. But what is clear is that they will get fun things next season,” he explained.
