Dave Khodabux
Since Dave was five, we could find him in the sports hall. His father was a youth supervisor at BV Gaasperdam. Two years later, Dave was officially a member of BV Gaasperdam. A few years later, he was already at the district training sessions and it was soon time for the real work in the national selection. Dave has not one but several achievements that he is very proud of. His many national and international youth titles (NJK, 6 Nations, Danish Junior Cup) and the Dutch championship in the mix. Off the court, Dave likes to hear as much noise as possible, positive noise. Every match can be a fun party.
Dave is actually always busy with badminton. That could hardly be otherwise with a real top athlete. He provides training at BC De Lobbers in Wageningen and has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Lab management.
The best thing about waking up?
“I have a very relaxing song to wake up to. My alarm clock is always set a little too early, so that I can turn around and give my girlfriend a hug (if she is not on the night shift).”
