The sailor Unai Cilleruelo will participate in the SM La Reina Trophy after competing in the World Championship in Oslo. Cilleruelo will partner with Borja Villagrán in the 220-mile Offshore race, starting on Friday and arriving on Sunday in Valencian waters. He will compete aboard the O’Marylou X332 boat, with which he participated in the last edition of the Conde de Gódo BMW Sailing Trophy in the OCR A2 category.

The Biscayan sailor will compete against some of the best sailors in the world in the 25th edition of the SM La Reina Trophy, one of the most important events in the Spanish and European sailing calendar that will take place in the waters of Valencia. Both sailors are at the Royal Nautical Club in the city of Turia finalizing the details for the test.

This Trophy is part, as an International Regatta, of the Official Calendar of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and is scored for the Mediterranean Sailing Circuit. The Offshore regatta in which Cilleruelo will participate will be run in a two-handed class (ORC A2) with the presence of boats with a “Double Handed” measurement certificate and ORC Habitability valid for 2024.
