The Thetford Minor Baseball 9U B3 Pirates started their season with five games in 10 days.
The campaign opened with a 12-9 loss to the Cardinals-1. Then, two very close victories against the Pirates 9U B1 and the Cardinals-2, followed by a draw against Torrent 1 during the 9U B event at Stade Canac.
The undefeated streak continued by facing the Pirates 9U B1 and the Cardinal-2 for a second time. Very offensive match until the last inning with a 17 to 15 victory. Lambert Grenier hit three inside circuits and Léo Cyr had three doubles and a circuit.
For their part, the Pirates 13U B1 received a visit from Torrent 2 Beauce Nord on Thursday at Robertson Park. Defeat 12 to 5. Two RBIs for Léo Routhier in the first inning. The match scheduled for Sunday did not take place due to rain.
