Second place for Thierry Neuville after stage 1, 1 second behind teammate Tänak
On day 1 of the Rally of Poland, 1 lap over 2.5 km in the Mikolajki Arena was on the program. Our compatriot and World Cup leader Thierry Neuville only had to tolerate his Hyundai teammate and closest attacker Ott Tänak. The Estonian was one second faster than the Belgian with a time of 1’42″5.
The British Elfyn Evans (Toyota) finished 3rd at 1″3. Two-time reigning world champion Kalle Rovanperä, who had to replace Sébastien Ogier after his accident, is 7th.
