Qualified at the last minute for this regional final where the 8 best neo-Aquitaine teams were brought together, the 4 qualified from the Limousin Poitou-Charentes sector and the 4 from the Aquitaine sector, Mélissa Jouffrey, Marie-Anne Cuvillier, Axelle Guinut and Laura Ferrault created the surprise.

The rise to national D2 in the viewfinder
A regional title which propels them to the national final with the winners of the 12 other French regions, the best team from the Overseas Territories and the 10 other best teams in the national ranking.
The final will take place the last weekend of June in Brienon-sur-Armançon, near Auxerre, to compete for the national title and promotion to the second national division. “ The first 8 teams will move up to D2. The matches are direct elimination. If we win the first two, we are in D2”specifies Tony Dahais.
A (re) rise to national D2 that their male counterparts were aiming for. Unfortunately, they failed in the regional semi-finals against Le Bouscat in the play-off arrow. Disappointment. Thouars and Niort were the only clubs to have three teams in this regional final. The Niort women’s compound team finished 4th and the two recurve teams, men and women, finished 5th. The last two-Sevrian representative, the Tallud men’s team placed 5th in compound arch. This weekend of June 22 and 23, the youth regional finals, individual and team, will take place in Mérignac.
