The final game of the series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox was postponed due to bad weather Wednesday evening at Fenway Park.
The score was 0-0 when the game was called early in the second inning with one out. Blue Jays’ Davis Schneider was on first base and Danny Jansen was about to step into the batter’s box.
The game will be resumed on August 26 as part of a doubleheader, at the point where it was interrupted.
The Blue Jays and the Red Sox had divided the honors of the first two games of the series.
