Tour de France: at what time, on which channel to follow the 2nd stage between Cesenatico and Bologna live?

The Tour de France continues its Italian journey. Having left Florence for Rimini this Saturday for the first stage, the riders will continue this Sunday for the second stage. The route, 198.7 km long, will start from Cesenatico and go to Bologna. The participants will thus cross the Emilia-Romagna region. They will notably pass through Imola and its famous racing circuit.

Flatter than Saturday, this Sunday’s stage has a difference in altitude of 1850 m. The different hills oscillate between category 4 and category 3, far from certain climbs which await the runners afterwards. Two parts still remain particularly steep.

After about 85 km of travel, the riders will have to climb the Gallisterna hill (1.2 km at 12.8%) while around ten kilometres before the finish, the riders will tackle the San Luca hill (1.9 km at 10.6%).

“It’s an invitation to punchers,” comments Christian Prudhomme, the boss of the Grande Boucle.

>> The second stage can be followed this Sunday June 30 on France Télévisions (France 2 and France 3) and Eurosport. The fictitious start will be given at 12:15 p.m. The event can be followed on leparisien.fr
