The time has come at PalaTrieste Cesare Rubini to play game 4 of the Serie A2 Old Wild West playoff final in the Gold Scoreboard between Pallacanestro Trieste and Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù, with promotion to Serie A 2024-25 at stake. The Julian team is ahead 2-1, following Game 3 won away by Devis Cagnardi’s team from Brianza. After the 6,314 spectators for game 3, a seasonal record for Serie A2, all the tickets on free sale for game 4 have already been sold out. The taproom is set for 9.00 pm, with live TV on RaiSport HD and streaming on Rai Play and commentary by Maurizio Fanelli with technical commentary by Sandro De Pol. Foul block by Reyes (2nd foul) on Nikolic who scores 2/2 on free throws. Candussi responds from an attacking rebound, Nikolic sees another triple rejected by the rim. Everyone expects Reyes, but Trieste is a real team and the markings studied on the champion (at least for the A2) leave spaces that Ruzzier and Vildera use wisely to work alongside a tired and short team like the Cantù seen tonight who found Young, so far in the shadows, to resist at least until the middle of the third quarter when the lack of shooting from the arc and a few too many attacking rebounds dug a furrow which, going forward, proved to be unbridgeable.
