May 7, 2023 on this Campo Trieste left Serie A and returned after just one season. The match ended 83-72 and the party began at the PalaCesare Rubini.

The comment. Everyone expects Reyes, but Trieste is a real team and the markings studied on the champion (at least for the A2) leave spaces that Ruzzier and Vildera use wisely to work alongside a tired and short team like the Cantù seen tonight who found Young, so far in the shadows, to resist at least until the middle of the third quarter when the lack of shooting from the arc and a few too many attacking rebounds dug a furrow which, going forward, proved to be unbridgeable.

Trieste Basketball – Acqua San Bernardo Cantù 83-72. Boxscore: 20 Vildera, 19p+10 fouls suffered Reyes, 18p+6as Ruzzier, 11 Filloy, 7p+12r Brooks for Trieste; 22 Young, 12 Hickey, 11 Nikolic, 8p+9r Baldi Rossi for Cantù.
