Last Tuesday, Tunisia started its 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in the worst possible way, losing to Namibia. A historic success for the Namibians, who had never won in the continental competition, but a very worrying setback for the Tunisians, who nevertheless arrived in Côte d’Ivoire with great ambitions.
The takeover operation begins this Saturday evening against Mali who, conversely, launched their competition perfectly by dominating South Africa (2-0). They are thus in the lead ahead of Namibia.
