Even an arguable equalizer could not keep Turkey from winning. The Czech Republic seemed to have a chance of an unexpected qualification for a long time, but ultimately had to leave the European Championship empty-handed. Soucek erased Calhanoglu’s opener, Tosun still caused Turkish delirium. It means end of story for the Czechs.
