UCS Tennis Tournament in Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire: Who Will Take Home the Title?

Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire. Final of the tournament at UCS tennis in Cosne. The Cosnoise sportive tennis union (UCS) of Cosne is organizing a tournament, which began with the first matches on Saturday June 15, and which will end on Sunday June 30 with the ladies and men’s final.

The tournament attracts players from the entire Nièvre department, neighboring departments, and even the Île-de-France region, like Paul Sprengelmeijer who trains in Melun in Seine-et-Marne, and who is ranked 2/6.

UCS tennis is equipped with six courts, two of which are indoor and two lit quick (or resin) courts. Coach Olivier Veneau appreciates the renovation of the two outdoor tennis courts, carried out by the municipality. Club members come to train daily on these different courts.

The organizers have not imposed any level on the players. There are 140 participants. Among them, players who will play this Sunday, June 30, from 3 p.m.: Paul Sprengelmeijer (2/6), Thomas Machado (-2/6) from Issoire in Puy-de-Dôme, Hugolin Sapor (4/6) from Decize, Virgile Veneau from Cosne, Thomas Richard from Neuvy-sur-Loire, Lou Delcourt-Zilles (15/2) and Emma Simon (15/4) from Cosne.

The matches take place at the Raphaël-Giraux sports park.

The winner will receive a financial reward and a prize from the organizer.

At the end of the tournament, players will have an evolution in the ranking.
