Udinese Calcio has exercised the right to buy striker Lorenzo Lucca from Pisa. The Friulian Club announced it on its social channels.
Lucca, born in 2000, scored eight goals and four assists for Udinese in the championship, plus one in two Italian Cup matches. The 12 goals in which he took part in this Serie A represent a record for precociousness in the last edition of the tournament: Lucca was in fact the youngest Italian player to reach this figure. Furthermore, the striker is the first top-flight debutant to score eight goals since 2015/16.
Lucca has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2028.
