Under 17 European Championships, Italy flies to the final: it will challenge Portugal

Massimiliano Favo’s National Under 17 team flies to the final of the European Championships: in front of the 840 spectators who flocked to the Antōnīs Papadopoulos Stadium in Larnaca, the azzurrini beat Denmark thanks to a goal from Coletta, born in 2007 for Roma. Italy will return to the field on Wednesday 5 June (7.30 pm Italian time) at the Limassol Stadium with Portugal who, in the other semi-final, came from behind to beat Serbia 3-2 at the AEK Arena. “How exciting this Italy is – commented President Gabriele Gravina -, congratulations to Mr. Favo and all the boys. The Azzurrini have proven to be a team of character with a lot of technical quality, fundamental characteristics to continue to dream big”. It will be the fourth final in the history of the Azzurri in the competition after those of 2013, 2018 and 2019 (all, unfortunately, lost)
