If Kristaps Porzingis, who ended up injured this Sunday, was the key ingredient in the first victory, this time it was Jrue Holiday who was the offensive lighthouse with 26 points (11 of 14 shooting) and 11 rebounds. Derrick White also stood out with 18 points, 8 of them in the last quarter to close out the victory.

It was a very choral performance by Joe Mazzulla’s team – Jayson Tatum almost reached the triple-double with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists, Jaylen Brown had 21 points and 7 assists, Porzingis contributed 12 points and Horford added 5 points and 7 rebounds.

“Jrue was incredible. His defensive effort (…) and then in attack making the game easy, making the right decisions. He is very calm and you can see that he has already been in these types of moments,” he said about a Holiday that he was already an NBA champion in 2021 with the Milwaukee Bucks.
