Since then, archery has remained on the Olympic programme. ThereCoreadominates the Olympic archery record, winning 23 of the 40 gold medals up for grabs.

Among the French archers who have distinguished themselves are Sébastien FluteOlympic champion in 1992, the women’s team composed of Sophie Dodémont, Virginie Arnold and Bérengère Schuh, bronze medal in 2008, e Jean-Charles Valladontrunner-up at the 2016 Olympics.
