In the privacy of the locker room, Nikola Jokic is clearly a very different guy than he shows in front of the cameras. DeAndre Jordan’s recent testimony goes in this direction, and he notably explained the crazy story behind their legendary handshake.
Nikola Jokic is a man who hides his game and his personality well when he is in front of the cameras… Because behind his assumed nonchalance and his disinterested airs, there is necessarily a captain attentive to the needs of his teammates and a leader capable of uniting the group around him. Without that, the Nuggets would never have been able to win a ring.
This is something that was confirmed by DeAndre Jordan in Paul George’s latest podcast. The veteran just finished his second season in Colorado, where he was able to create real chemistry with the now three-time MVP. The former Lob City dunker also confirmed the rumor that has been circulating for many years on social media: the Joker only sees basketball as a job.

Nikola Jokic is obviously a strong man in the Nuggets locker room thanks to his humor and simplicity. To please DeAndre Jordan, for example, he agreed to kiss him, as he would his Serbian compatriots.
