Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese archers have landed in Turkey and are ready to seek the last Olympic places in the Hyundai Archery World Cup Antalya 2024, the last qualifier prior to the Paris Olympic Games.
They will compete in the individual and team recurve bow modalities for men and women from June 18 to 23.
Among athletes, Do Thi Anh Nguyet carries the heavy burden of being one of the favorites, having won a ticket to the Tokyo Olympics four years ago.
Archery is one of the team sports in which the Vietnamese team is expected to excel; However, so far the athletes have participated in several heats, but failed to secure a place.
Archery at the Paris Olympic Games will take place over seven days, from July 25 to August 4./.
