Vincent Poirier (2.13 m, 30 years old) officially leaves Real Madrid for Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Revealed a few weeks ago, the information was confirmed this Tuesday by the Turkish club which made the official announcement. The French international (60 caps since 2017) signed a three-season contract with the Istanbul club, unfortunate finalist of the last Turkish Championship and winner of the Euroleague in 2021 and 2022.

The former Paris-Levallois player arrived in April 2021 at Real Madrid, bouncing back to Spain after two lackluster seasons in the NBA, at the Boston Celtics (2019/2020) then at the Philadelphia Sixers (2020/2021). In three and a half seasons in Madrid, he has won an impressive number of trophies, with a Euroleague (2023), two Spanish league titles (2022 and 2024), a Copa del Rey (2024) and three Spanish Super Cups.
