Reporting from various sources, the German national team is the squad with the oldest players at Euro 2024. Of the 26 players in the squad, 10 of them are aged 30 years and over.
On average, the age of German national team players is 28.5 years. The oldest is Manuel Neuer with 38 years old followed by Kroos and Mueller who are both 34 years old. In fact, coach Julian Nagelsmann is a year younger than Neuer!

Neuer, Mueller and Kroos are the most senior players having made 100 appearances for Germany, plus having won the World Cup. The three of them are still included in the main squad, Kroos has just made his comeback to the national team and Mueller has to be patient in sharing a place with young players, namely Musiala and Witrz.
Since being eliminated at Euro 2016 by France, Germany has struggled at major tournaments. They were eliminated twice in the group stages of the World Cup and were knocked out in the last 16 by England at Euro 2020.
