Wales will be without Josie Green, who suffered an injury on the last Wales camp, with the defender – currently unattached after leaving Leicester City – joining Elise Hughes, Hannah Cain and Esther Morgan, who are recovering from long-term injuries.
Wales have included their most-capped player, Jess Fishlock, and her Seattle Reign team-mates Angharad James and Lily Woodham, but they will be on a separate training schedule ahead of the Croatia match.
The trio have a club game on the evening of Sunday, 7 July as Reign face Utah Royals.
“We will have lots of conversations with those players and prioritise their rest and recovery,” Wilkinson added.
“It’s a long flight to Croatia, but they are being led by one of the best ever in Jess Fishlock.
“We can’t treat them like the other players. It’s a huge amount of travel and recovering from their game. They will miss some training sessions to make sure they are ready to go.”
