The Washington Wizards will decline their 2024-25 team option on Tristan Vukcevic for flexibility reasons, according to Hoopshype’s Michael Scotto. The Serbian player will become an unrestricted free agent and will not earn the 2.42 million that he would receive if he were to join the capital’s plans.

Vukcevic, 21, signed his first NBA contract with the Wizards last March after spending two seasons with Partizan Belgrade. He played in 10 games and had 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 15.3 minutes and started four of those games as Washington was out of playoff contention.

Before Partizan, Vukcevic played for Real Madrid from 2019 to 2022.
