The Percfest in Laigueglia, the Liguria of the arts in Spotorno, the “Ape in Musik” event in Vado Ligure, the Notte Bianca in Loano, the Voxonus Festival in Savona, Judo in Laigueglia, the Festa del Mare in Loano, literature, art and music in Alassio and Ceriale, concerts in the squares for the Music Festival in Albenga. Art, traditions, entertainment, sport and lots and lots of excellent music to cheer up this long first summer weekend in mid-June on the Riviera.

This year too, Rosario Bonaccorso, artistic director of Percfest since 1996 and a well-known jazz double bass player of international standing, managed to bring many excellences of jazz and percussion music to Laigueglia. To the Percfest from 20 to 23 June 2024 during the four days of the Laigueglia jazz and percussion festival you will be able to attend 8 evening concerts, two per evening, with big names in jazz from the Italian, European and American scenes.
The “Ape in Musik” exhibition continues in Vado Ligure. Friday 21 June from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, aperitifs, musical entertainment and entertainment in the streets of the pedestrian centre, organized by the La Piazza Consortium and the collaboration of the traders. The 7th Edition of Liguria delle Arti begins Friday 21 June in Spotorno, where we will admire a timeless masterpiece with an incredible story, a Tablet of the Annunciation by a Lombard-Ligurian painter from the end of the 1400s, an invaluable work that had long “rested” within the sacred walls of the Oratory of the Santissima Annunziata. The surprises, however, are not over because, a few steps from the Oratory, there is the house where Camillo Sbarbaro lived the last 16 years of his life.
“Piazze in musica”: the appointment will be Friday 21 June starting from 5 pm where the historic center of Albenga, on the occasion of the “European Music Festival”, will be invaded by the musical notes of the many groups that will perform in the squares ranging from various genres. From 10.30pm the event will come to an end and we will dance to the tune of “DJ Lucio” in Piazza Delle Erbe.
The concert of the “Libero Arbitrio Band” in Piazza della Vittoria Friday 21 June (10pm) will officially kick off the events in Ceriale for this summer of 2024. Saturday 22 Juneagain in Piazza della Vittoria (10pm), the Franco Zino Band will take to the stage. Sunday 23 June on the seaside promenade there will be the LavoriAmo Ceriale craft market (from 9am to midnight).
The “White Night”, a long marathon of fun in Loano Saturday 22 June. From the 17 original tasting points; on the promenade stands of artisans and artists. In the area of via dei Gazzi, via Dante, via Pirandello and viale Enrico Toti starting from 7.30pm street food. The great protagonist will be music, with around twenty concerts and performances in different parts of the city starting from 9pm. At 10pm the great concert by Giusy Ferreri.
The next Saturday 22 June at 9.15 pm the Voxonus Festival “From the Alps to the sea” promoted by the Savona Symphony Orchestra will arrive at the Sanctuary of NS di Misericordia in Savona with the concert “Baroque meets Folk” performed by the Voxonus Duo and Percussion. Voxonus Festival will take place in 24 prestigious locations between Liguria, Piedmont and Puglia. Five concerts are planned in Savona.
With My Generation on the stage in Piazza Partigiani Saturday 22 June in Alassio the voices and musical talents of two generations will come together: the millenials represented by the lower middle school of the Istituto Comprensivo Ollandini and the musicians of Alex Vaudano’s historic Turin band.

The personal exhibition was inaugurated in Alassio “Metaphor of the Journey” by the sculptor Bruno Catalano, one of the greatest exponents of the contemporary artistic panorama. The exhibition, which kicks off the 2024 edition of Ligyes Alassio Genova Cultura Fest and which also takes place simultaneously in Genoa and New York, is composed of two monumental sculptures from the “I Viaggiatori” series, which will be visible on Molo Bestoso in Alassio until October 31st.
