Not Damian Czykier, but Jakub Szymański became the Polish champion in the 110-meter hurdles during the competition in Bydgoszcz. The 21-year-old showed himself very well and equaled the Polish record belonging to his more experienced colleague. In this way, Szymański secured the Olympic qualification, and after the competition ended, he did not hide his satisfaction.
