XV of France, Stade Toulousain, French 7s team… Antoine Dupont is on all fronts this year. And everything he touches turns to gold. The scrum half even has hidden talents as… actor. Thus, in an advertisement for Volvic, he responds to Eric Judor in a spot full of humor, necessarily absurd when it comes to the comic actor and director.
In the brand’s latest spot, Éric Judor transforms into a coach – more or less approximate – of the French rugby star. For advice that is frankly adequate but truly hilarious. On “rugby with zest”, and not at 7… We will also note a small reference to Zinédine Zidane, former icon of Volvic, who recounted his ritual for putting on his socks before matches. An advertisement that Antoine Dupont had already parodied, before the last World Cup in France.
We knew the comic potential of Éric Judor – famous in particular for his duet with Ramzy Bedia and his successful films – but we were unaware of Antoine Dupont’s acting talents. Which, as in all areas, is doing very well…
