Yann Schrub in silver in the 10,000m at the European Championships

Frenchman Yann Schrub won the silver medal in the 10,000 meters at the European Athletics Championship.

Frenchman Yann Schrub won the silver medal in the 10,000 meters at the European Athletics Championships in Rome this Wednesday. With a time of 28.00.48 minutes, he did better than his bronze medal obtained at the 2022 European Championships in Munich and is preparing in the best possible way for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

This is the fifteenth medal for the French clan which achieved a very good championship in preparation for the Olympic Games.

Three other French people were competing in this final. Jimmy Gressier finished fifth, Simon Bédard finished ninth while Valentin Gondouin took tenth place. An event won by the Swiss Dominic Lokinyomo Lobalu in 28.00.32 minutes.
