Young Goalkeeper Elu Shines at Tricolor Paulista, Earns Brazilian Under-20 Call-Up

The defender celebrates a good phase at Tricolor Paulista, which earned her call-ups to the Brazilian under-20 team

São Paulo is one of the references when we talk about the youth category in Brazilian women’s football, in addition to revealing more athletes every year.

This season, goalkeeper Elu has been gaining more and more space in the Tricolor goal, which earned her a call-up to the Brazilian under-20 team, qualified for the World Cup in the category, which takes place between August and September in Colombia.

At just 18 years old, the archer is in her third season with the São Paulo team, being involved in professional team games, and with that, she signed her first professional contract.

At a good moment in her career, the athlete celebrates:

The goalkeeper competes in two competitions with Tricolor Paulista: the Brasileiro Feminino sub-20, in which she is in second place, with 19 points and undefeated, and the Paulista Feminino in the category, which has 100% success and is close to confirming her place in the quarterfinals.

São Paulo returns to the field this Sunday, 23rd, at 3pm, against Mauaense, in Mauá.
