The National Basketball League has announced the formula and semifinal pairings for the next edition of the 2024 Old Wild West Super Cup Final Four.
SUPER CUP, THE FORMULA
Following the conclusion of the championship reform process, the Super Cup formula returns to the structure applied until the 2019 edition. The qualification phase has been abolished, and the Final Four will award the trophy for the A2 and National B series through semi-final and final matches, in a single location.
SUPER CUP, THE QUALIFIERS
The teams that won the LNP trophies in the 2023-2024 season will automatically access the Final Four. With them, the best ranked at the end of the play-offs, with the obvious exclusion of those promoted to the higher championships.
Participating in the Final Four for the A2 series:
– Pallacanestro Forlì, holder of the 2024 Italian Cup
– OrziBasket Orzinuovi, finalist of the 2024 Super Cup replacing Trapani Shark, promoted to Serie A
– Fortitudo Bologna, play-off finalist
– Pallacanestro Cantù, play-off finalist
Participating in the Final Four for the national B series:
– Herons Montecatini, winner of the 2024 Italian Cup
– Pielle Livorno, winner of the 2024 Super Cup
– Pallacanestro Roseto, play-off finalist
– Pallacanestro Ruvo di Puglia, play-off semifinalist (best ranking, replacing Herons Montecatini, already qualified)

– Cantù Basketball-Orzibasket Orzinuovi
– Fortitudo Bologna-Forlì Basketball
National Serie B
– Herons Montecatini-Roseto Basketball
– Pielle Livorno-Basketball Ruvo Puglia
SUPERCUP, DATES AND VENUE
The four semi-final matches will be played on Saturday 21 September.
Finals Sunday 22nd September. The venue of the event will be announced soon.
