Round of 16 Euro 2024 has been completed. Eight teams won tickets to the quarterfinals and presented a big match.
The Austria vs Turkey duel closed the series of round of 16 matches of Euro 2024. The match at the Red Bull Arena, Leipzig, Wednesday (3/7/2024) early morning WIB was won by Turkey with a score of 2-1.
Turkey’s qualification completes the list of countries advancing to the quarter-finals of Euro 2024. Turkey will next face the Netherlands who a few hours earlier secured their qualification with a 3-0 win over Romania.
Switzerland became the first nation to secure a place in the quarter-finals with a win over Italy. They were followed by hosts Germany who beat Denmark 2-0.
England needed extra time to overcome Slovakia and progress to the last eight, while Spain cruised to a convincing 4-1 win over Georgia.
France also qualified for the Euro 2024 quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Belgium, while Portugal had to fight until a penalty shootout before beating Slovenia to secure a ticket to the last eight.
