Adama Sanogo has signed a new contract Two ways with Chicago Bulls, according to Chris Haynes, journalist for Bleacher Report. The power forward, who already made such an agreement with the franchise last summer, will therefore remain connected to the team from Illinois, but at the same time will also be part of the Windy City Bulls of the G League and try to gain experience in order to establish himself in the NBA.
Sanogo only played minutes in nine games last season, most of them at the end of the season, but he had the opportunity to show his virtues. Although his averages are very discreet due to the small number of minutes he usually spent on the court, he managed to put together a 22-point, 20-rebound performance against the Bulls on the penultimate night of regular season, leaving a memorable first night in the league.
He had the best chance to shine in the G League, where he averaged 20.4 points and 12 rebounds, showing his strength inside the game. Next year, with the Bulls theoretically more committed to a rebuild, he may be able to get more minutes in the NBA, which could be important in cementing his career and making the jump permanent.
