Adama Sanogo Signs Two-Way Contract with Chicago Bulls to Continue Development in NBA and G League

Adama Sanogo has signed a new contract two-way with the Chicago Bulls, according to Chris Haynes, a journalist from Bleacher Report. The power forward, who already reached an agreement of this type with the franchise last summer, will therefore remain linked to those from Illinois while also being part of the Windy City Bulls of the G League, thus trying to gain experience in order to establish himself in the NBA.

Sanogo only played in nine games last season, most of them late in the season, but he had the chance to prove his worth. Despite his low averages due to the limited amount of minutes he usually spent on the court, he managed to put together a 22-point, 20-rebound performance against the Bulls on the penultimate night of the regular season, leaving behind a memorable first night in the league.

It was in the G League where he had the opportunity to shine the most, where he averaged 20.4 points and 12 rebounds, thus demonstrating his power in the inside game. This coming season, with the Bulls theoretically more focused on rebuilding, he might be able to earn more minutes in the NBA, which could be important in consolidating his career and making the jump for good.
