Björn Gulden, CEO of adidas, said on Sky: “The shoe obsession describes Toni Kroos. He only wants the best for himself. He doesn’t care about marketing. He doesn’t care how much money he gets. He just wants the best shoe for himself. Of course, that’s a bit bad for us. But the fact that he always wears the three stripes is a gift. I’m a huge fan of him!”

Kroos looks back on an illustrious professional career in which he played for FC Bayern, Bayer Leverkusen and, since 2014, for Real Madrid. Among other things, he won the Champions League six times, three German and four Spanish championship titles.

The highlight of his national team career was the 2014 World Cup title in Brazil. In total, Kroos played in seven major tournaments for the DFB team.
