Alejandro Davidovich Withdraws from Wimbledon Due to Back Injury

Alejandro Davidovich will not compete in Wimbledon this year. The Malaga native, number two in the world rankings (36th), who was to face American Sebastian Korda in the first round on Tuesday, will not be able to compete in the British Grand Slam due to a back injury. His place in the draw will be taken by the Frenchman who has been picked up from qualifying, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

This same week he also had to withdraw from the ATP 250 in Eastbourne, after having played the Queen’s 500 the previous week, where he lost in the first round against the Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, without apparent physical problems.
