Alpine recruits three new engineers

On its road to recovery, Alpine has, the French team hopes, taken a new step forward on July 1 with the arrival of three high-ranking engineers who previously worked for leading teams, Red Bull and Ferrari.

Michael Broadhurst has been appointed chief aerodynamicist. He already worked at Enstone between 2009 and 2016 before joining McLaren and then Red Bull. Vin Dhanani, also formerly of Renault and then Lotus, then worked at Sauber and then Red Bull, he was hired as head of performance. Finally, Jacopo Fantoni will be the new deputy chief engineer. He has just spent more than ten years at Ferrari, where he worked with David Sanchez, the new technical director of Alpine since last May.
