At the start, the world number 18 from Russia did not give the Hungarian qualifier Panna Udvardy a chance in a second set win, and this Thursday she followed up: Kalinskaya defeated Marie Bouzkova (ATP 40) from the Czech Republic 6:4, 6:1.
In the third round, the 25-year-old Sinner’s girlfriend will face an all-Russian duel, as she will face either Liudmila Samsonova (ATP 15) or Elina Avanesyan (ATP 77). Jannik Sinner, on the other hand, will continue on Friday with the match against Miomir Kecmanovic.
