Costa, who turns 25 on July 12, has played 62 games and scored three goals for Independiente, his training club. He was loaned to Platense between June and December 2022.
Antwerp, now coached by Jonas De Roeck, have already signed full-back Denis Odoi, young Bulgarian defender Rosen Bozhinov and Dutch-Surinamese midfielder Tjaronn Chery.
