Archers du Loudunois Club Shines at National Mixed Trophy in Chennevières-sur-Marne

A great performance for the two mixed teams from the Archers du Loudunois club, representing the Vienne department at the National Mixed Trophy in Chennevières-sur-Marne (94).

A classic bow team and a barebow team went to defend the colors of Loudun. The competition took place on June 22 and 23, 2024 with a promising first day where the two mixed teams each won the three duels in their group.

After a new series of duels on Sunday, the mixed classic bow team finished first in its group and the barebow team second. These results allowed access to the ” big shoot off »the equivalent of a “penalty shootout”. Once again, the Loudunais excelled in scoring. Both teams reached the final and secured a place on the podium. Not bad for a first national participation.

Sandra Potier and Luc Guépin won the barebow (simple traditional bow, without sighting accessory). Élisabeth Coric and Corentin Barataud lost in the final and won the silver medal in the recurve bow (bow with sight used during the Olympic Games).
