Arco Club Valladolid Shines at Spanish Championship: Bringing Home Three Medals

Arco Club Valladolid returned from the final phase of the Spanish Championship held in Valencia with three medals, one gold, one silver and one bronze, in a competition in which it participated with seven teams in the top category.

In recurve, a men’s team competed, finishing sixth, and a mixed team made up of Sandra Bastián and Pablo Bustos, who after several exciting eliminations made it to the final against the favourite team from Madrid. In the end, the team from Valladolid won by a tight score of five to three, proclaiming themselves Spanish champions in mixed recurve.

In compound archery, five teams from Arco Club were present: two mixed, two men’s and one women’s. The men’s team, made up of Alejandro González, Héctor González, Daniel Cobo and Borja Martínez, was proclaimed runner-up in Spain, while the mixed team, made up of María Gómez, Laura González, Héctor and Alejandro, won the bronze medal. The other men’s and women’s teams finished in fourth place, very close to winning the bronze medal.

Thus, a good haul and balance for Arco Club Valladolid, which closed its participation as one of the three best clubs in Spain in the medal table.
